They are very good at marketing their products. They looked top-notch from pictures and it sounded like they put a lot of effort into not only making a high quality product but improving on the all ready existing options. With that being said, I wouldn't buy them again. I sent many emails requesting torque specs before I finally got a reply saying they don't have any and to just snug them up with loctite. Brett sent printed instructions on torquing his intake sprockets(which came with quality arp hardware). Also, when you loosen the adjusting bolts there is a bit of play between the machined hub and the sprocket which of course put things in a bit of a bind and made it harder to rotate. Made me wonder about the runout of the sprocket but I couldn't find a good place to position my dial gauge to check.
I didn't intend to bash z1 in this thread...but these are my honest observations. In the end they get the job done. And to be fair, I have no experience with other aftermarket exhaust sprockets to compare them to.
I guess I'm just nieve because I like to believe they're genuinely interested in selling quality products with quality service to back it up...I even want to try their fucas but am becoming more cautious now.
